By accessing or using Metisa AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual users and organizations.

2. Description of Service

Metisa AI is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides document compliance scanning. The Service connects to third-party document sources (such as Google Drive), scans file metadata for compliance issues, generates findings, and produces reports. Metisa AI accesses file metadata only and does not read or store actual file contents.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
One person or entity may not maintain more than one account
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party services via OAuth 2.0. By connecting a third-party service, you authorize Metisa AI to access your data on that service as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

6. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your data. You grant Metisa a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of any data you submit to or create through the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, and the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

8. Subscription & Billing

Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycles, and feature availability are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Free tier users are subject to usage limits as described in the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metisa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
